In late December Actor|Observer joined recently reunited Boston band Therefore I Am for a monstrous sold out show at The Sinclair. The visceral and enormously cogent band whose mantra is “people like you are why people like us exist” is currently working on the follow up to their 2015 LP The Longer Now.
Fresh off the heels from recording, Actor|Observer will join Boston legends Energy and newcomers Partywolfe for what promises to be a wild night of entertainment, Misfits songs, and guitar breakdowns. The show presented by LIKEYOUSAID will take place on Friday, February 24th at 10PM at the Great Scott in Allston. This will be the first time that all three bands will perform together.
Energy frontman Jason Tankerley (“Tank”) describes this moment as “the tip of the iceberg” for the band who has played with Converge, The Wonder Years, The Casualties, Modern Life Is War, Defeater, and Set Your Goals over their eleven year tenure. Following the band’s major month-long UK Spring tour with Creeper, Energy also plans on releasing a new album.
Meanwhile, Partywolfe, who sounds like the perfect blend between Glassjaw and Chiodos, has been rapidly picking up speed since the 2016 release of their cleverly titled debut EP Homeless Romantic. Much like Actor|Observer and Energy, Partywolfe brings the vitality and yes – the party to each of their live shows, with vocalist Alex McCormick often taking to the floor to engage fans.
Tickets to Actor|Observer, Energy, and Partywolfe are now on sale for $10. You can purchase your advance tickets here.
