It had been clear that AFI has been up to something since the California punk band blacked out their Facebook profile in mid-October and began posting short, cryptic clips of their new music. Naturally, fans became to speculate about the possibility of a new album.

Those speculations were confirmed at about 2pm this afternoon when AFI announced that on January 20th, 2017, they would release AFI (The Blood Album). The band’s 10th studio release is being produced by Matt Hyde and longtime AFI guitarist, Jade Puget.  Four different bundles are currently available to preorder through the AFI website.

Ahead of the release of AFI (The Blood Album), the band has also debuted two powerful new songs: “Snow Cats” and “White Offering”. You can listen to the new tracks below and let us know what you think of them in the comments.

2016 has been an active year for AFI vocalist, Davey Havok. In addition to writing with AFI, he has been busy developing a yet-to-be-named project with the guys of No Doubt, while touring in support of Material, the third studio album from Havok and Puget’s side project Blakq Audio.
