Last month, Travis Barker of Blink 182 shared that the band was done writing their new record. “It’s just a matter of picking what 12 to 14 songs are gonna be on the album. I think we wrote 26 or 27 — so everyone right now is really pushing for their favorites.” “It was great to have someone who wants to be in the studio all the time with us. It has been amazing”, he adds, referring to Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio, who replaced Tom DeLonge after years of public feuds among band members. “I think the days of making great records, at least with Blink, the proof has been shown that it’s great when we’re all in the studio together.”

Now that the record is complete, it looks like Blink 182, which now consists of Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, and Matt Skiba, will put out a new single in just a few weeks. The first single is called “Bored To Death” and will be out on April 28th, 2016.
