Rabbit Hole: Used to refer to a bizarre, confusing, or nonsensical situation or environment, typically one from which it is difficult to extricate oneself; an allusion to Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. To go “down the rabbit hole” is to enter a period of chaos or confusion.

After a long goodbye with founding member Tom DeLonge and the addition of Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba, Blink 182 is quickly approaching the release of California, the pop-punk band’s first album in five years.

On Wednesday, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker joined Zane Lowe on the Apple Music Beats 1 radio show to premiere the speedy “Rabbit Hole” on the heels of previous releases  “Bored to Death” and “Built This Pool”.

“I won’t fall down that fucking rabbit hole/ I’m barely standing on the ground/ All the hints that you leave are too hard to believe at all/ I won’t fall down that fucking rabbit hole with you, with you, with you, with you again!” Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba adamantly sing over fast and commanding guitar riffs.

This summer Blink 182 will headline a massive summer tour with A Day To Remember, All American Rejects, All Time Low, and DJ Spider. Their new album California will be out July 1st through BMG.
