In February of this year, news broke that a supergroup featuring Davey Havok of AFI and Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young of No Doubt was in the making. While the band has been pretty hush hush about their plans, according to this interview with Billboard, in May they already had 30 demos, some of which the quartet spent the summer recording in the studio.

Today a social media post on the band’s new Facebook page revealed the name DREAMCAR to the world! The highly anticipated supergroup will make its official debut in 2017. Tour announcements and new music is expected to drop soon.

Meanwhile, AFI will release a new album of their own in January and while the future hasn’t yet been written for No Doubt, the infamous Orange County ska-pop band has gone on record saying that they are still together.
