Our friends at Do617 have really been putting the oomph in Boston’s step lately, constantly keeping us in the know about upcoming events, shows, and trivia nights. On Saturday, April 16th, Do617 will host the 2nd Annual Pop-Up Record Shop at the Brighton Music Hall. The event starts at 10AM on the third Saturday in April AKA Record Store Day. This day celebrates music culture, independent record stores, and the art of record collecting.

The Do617 Pop-up Record Shop is sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon and Tito’s Handmade Vodka, meaning there will be ample red, white, and blue tall boys and mixed drinks for vinyl aficionados like yourselves to guzzle down while browsing through an extensive collection of music. A screen-printer, several DJs, and two dozen vendors will join in on the free event. Among the on-site merchants will be indie record labels, vinyl distributors, and record stores including:

AR Classic Records
Bob Records
BUFU Records
Counter Intuitive Records
Deathwish Inc.
