Jenny Lewis has come a long way since her days of acting in Jell-O commercials and landing small roles on The Golden Girls and Baywatch. For thirteen years, she played with the beloved Saddle Creek band Rilo Kiley. She has also released three solo albums, performed as part of a duo with her boyfriend Jonathan Rice, and most recently she has formed an all girl indie-pop group called Nice As Fuck.

Nice As Fuck is Jenny Lewis, Erika Foster (Au Revoir Simone), and Tennessee Thomas (The Like). Formed in 2016, the trio’s first ever shows took place at a Bernie Sanders rally and a now defunct New York City record shop called Deep End Club. Nice As Fuck’s nine track self-titled album is chock-full of break up songs, with their lead single “Door” paying homage to the Deep End Club and the sense of community it created in its three years of business.
