The Cure Tour 2016 kicked off last night with a massive arena show in The Big Easy.

Throughout the night, the English rock band played some of their biggest hits from the last four decades, including “Friday I’m In Love”, “Just Like Heaven”, and “Lovesong”. They also debuted two mid-tempo tracks, the hopeful “Step Into The Light” and reflective “It Can Never Be The Same”.

Could new music from the Cure be a sign that the band’s 14th studio album, the follow up to 4:13 Dream is ahead? Let’s hope so. You can listen to the two new songs below and see the Cure perform at the Agganis Arena in Boston on June 16th.

Tonight the Cure will return to New Orleans for the second consecutive night. Stay tuned to LIKEYOUSAID on Facebook for more music and tour updates from the Cure.
