Just one day after 22-year-old pop singer Christina Grimmie was shot and killed outside her concert in downtown Orlando, the city faces another horrific tragedy. Late Saturday night a gunman opened fire at Pulse, a popular gay nightclub, taking the lives of over 50 people and injuring 53 others, making this the worst mass shooting in US history.
Victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting are currently in need of blood donations. If you are local to Florida, you can find your blood donation center at OneBlood.org.
While it can be difficult to find the words to say during such a heartbreaking tragedy, musicians and LGBT supporters have taken to Twitter to express some of their sentiments:
