Since their formation in the late 1980s, the Deftones have put the “alternative” in alt-rock, daring to experiment more than majority of artists in their genre. Last Monday night, the Sacramento rock gods blasted onto the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion stage on the Gore Tour along with Swedish hardcore punk band Refused and Spotlights of Brooklyn, New York.

The Deftones’ twenty two song set list with not one but two encores consisted of old favorites like “My Own Summer (Shove It)” and “Minerva”, as well as new favorites like “Gore” and “Acid Hologram” off Gore, the Deftones’ moody and critically acclaimed eighth studio release.

LIKEYOUSAID had the chance to catch all of the action from the Gore Tour (a name which consistently reminds us of our old pal Al) last week in Boston. Check out our photo gallery below.
