This year summer came early in Boston. The Summer Set, a sunny pop rock/pop punk quartet from Scottsdale, Arizona lit up the Paradise Rock Club stage during their late May stop on The Stories For Monday Tour.

Following sets from openers Call Me Karizma, Royal Teeth, and Handsome Ghost, the Summer Set played nearly two dozen songs, including “Boomerang”, a song heavy with pop culture references, as well as “Figure Me Out” and “Missin’ You” off their new album Stories For Monday.  At one point, vocalist Brian Dales even attempted to start a conga line. The Summer Set closed out the night with a “Wasted” and “Lightning In A Bottle” encore.
