Tove Lo. If you don’t know her by now, I feel bad for you. The Swedish born singer and rising star brought her Lady Wood Tour through the House Of Blues in Boston this past Sunday night and with it she brought a sold out crowd and an absolutely intoxicating live performance. Her set included a number of favorites off her breakthrough Queen of the Clouds, an album which genuinely explores the depths of the singer’s life.
Her song “Habits (Stay High)” climbed the charts in 2014 and as it appears, Tove Lo is still climbing. Her latest release Lady Wood is being highly received and offers another in depth look into one of music’s most raw entertainers. Tove Lo is unique in that her music forces you to lock into that raw, erotic, and emotional side that each of us has within us. This sort of openness is why her fans feel so connected to the singer and why her live show is not only an expression for her but for the audience itself. It’s an escape and an outlet to be free.
Make sure to catch Tove Lo on tour and experience the hype next chance you get. In the meantime, here are some shots from Tove Lo’s striking performance on February 19th in Boston, Massachusetts.
