Three years since The Strokes released Comedown Machine, the New York City rock band returns with a new EP titled Future Present Past. The album features four tracks, “Drag Queen”, “OBLIVIUS”, “Threat of Joy”, and drummer Fabrizio Moretti’s Remix of the lead single “OBLIVIUS”. Future Present Past will be the first album that the band releases through frontman Julian Casablancas’ label, Cult Records.
In honor of the record’s June 3rd release, the Strokes will have a pop-up shop at 352 Bowery in New York City’s East Village from May 30th through June 5th. The shop will be open from noon to 9PM, daily. A record release party for Future Present Past will take place the night leading into the EP’s release. The following day the Strokes are set to headline Governors Ball.
