If there’s one band in the punk scene that’s been blowing everyone out of the water in 2017, it’s got to be The Menzingers. Earlier this year they released After The Party, a record that’s so honest, so relatable, so hooky and heartfelt that it’s already a frontrunner for Album of the Year in many of our minds.

Today the Philadelphia band debuted the music video for the title track “After The Party”, a song about getting older but not quite growing up.

“Everybody wants to get famous, but you just want to dance in the basement” shouts frontman Greg Barnett over a montage of scenes following a fiery couple as they move through Dairy Queen parking lots, pool halls, diners, packed basement parties, and just about every other place that speaks to adolescence.

The frenetic music video for “After The Party” was directed by Kyle Thrash (Four Year Strong, Microwave, TWIABP) and produced by Will Yip (Title Fight, Balance and Composure). Check out the brand new music video from the Menzingers below and let us know what you think of it in the comments.

The Menzingers are currently on a U.S. tour with Jeff Rosenstock and Rozwell Kid. LIKEYOUSAID will be covering the show on Saturday, April 1st at the Royale Nightclub in Boston.
